Code ZIN: Esper Arena Now in Alpha Testing

What could be considered the true spiritual successor to the now defunct online shooter game S4 League, Code ZIN: Esper Arena drops onto the scene to take up the mantle with the release of its alpha test.

Developer & Publisher Giiku Games GmbH has released a press release on the Steam page for their upcoming 3rd-person shooter game Code ZIN: Esper Arena. What could possibly be considered as the spiritual successor to the now defunct 3rd-person online shooter game S4 League, can Giiku Games manage to relight everyone’s interest in a game that’s been gone for 3 years. S4 League was originally published in the West by Burda;ic, under their game portal Alaplaya which would later get bought out and merged to many companies afterwards that it’ll need its own news article to report on.

If you ever played or is a fan of S4 League, you’ll be good to know that Code ZIN retains a lot of the gameplay mechanics and movement options as the game it’s inspired by if not more. Another thing to note is the music is pretty much in the same tone as S4 Leagues music. This is most notable when you listen to the main theme song in the trailer above. If Planetboom & MikeB are names you are familiar with, you’ll know that Planetboom is also the artist behind S4 League’s main theme song “SuperSonic” and MikeB is the same rapper in the aforementioned song.

To participate in the alpha, you will have two tier options to choose from on the Code ZIN website. Basic Founders Pack is $9 USD & Premium Founders Pack is up for $19 USD. Both will grant you access to the alpha test along with the following:

  • Special Role on Discord Server (will be added later)
  • Exclusive Male Costume
  • Exclusive Female Costume
  • Exclusive Broadsword (Premium)
  • 4 Exclusive Accessories (Premium)

Code Zin: Esper Arena will be free-2-play and available on PC via Steam & standalone client.
