VShojo, a Vtuber talent agency stationed in the USA, has recently released a press release via X (formally Twitter) regarding one of their talents Amemiya Nazuna. It has been announced that Nazuna will be leaving VShojo at the end of the year on December 31, 2023 as VShojo’s contractual agreement with the talent behind the Nazuna character will be concluded. The press release goes as followed:
“Dear Community Members,
We wish to inform you that we are mutually concluding our contractual agreement with Amemiya Nazuna on December 31, 2023.
Amemiya Nazuna will maintain ownership of her intellectual properties and assets as she continues her creative endeavors.
We appreciate the support you have provided to Amemiya Nazuna and hope that it continues as she begins the next leg of her journey.

As the stated, Nazuna will retain ownership over all of her intellectual properties going forward. Nazuna has also posted a farewell message to her fans on X (click her to see the full X post).

Amemiya Nazuna is one of two talents who debuted under VShojo back on July 16, 2022 with fellow JP member Kson. Nazuna first appearance was during Kson’s Lore Trailer which premiered at Anime Expo 2022. From the moment of her apperance, much fan speculation was brought up about who the talent was that would be portraying Nazuna. It didn’t take long for fans to connect the dots and find out that the person was none other than Mikeneko, but most people in the Vtuber scene know her as the Necromancer of Hololive Japan Gen 3 (Hololive Fantasy) Uruha Rushia (Yes, we know that talking about talents past Vtuber lives is rather “taboo” in the scene but it’s no secret by now who the talent behind Nazuna is).
The reasoning behind her departure from VShojo isn’t stated but it has been stated by Nazuna herself (under her Mikeneko persona) that she has since landed a role in the upcoming anime “Meito “Isekai no Yu” Kaitaku-ki: AraFo Onsen Mania Tensei-saki wa, Nonbiri Osen Tengoku Deshita” (“Pioneer Log of the Storied Hot Springs “Alternate World’s Springs”: The Reincarnation Destination of an Onsen Fan (Who’s Around 40) Was a Relaxing Hot Spring Paradise”) as the character Lilium.
There is currently nothing planned for Nazuna’s departure in terms of a final stream or such. If so, it will more than likely be streamed on her Twitch channel.
